My Roses...

I was recently asked what I put on my roses to make them look so healthy and grow so big. Well, honestly I am new at this. This is my first year with roses. I've always loved them but never grew them.
For my birthday my husband and the girls planted me a rose garden. I was soooo happy!
I looked up some things online, how to cut them, how to prune them, watering, etc...
And I bought this at Wal-Mart...
It has worked miracles for me. I water my roses every other day with the water hose and every Sunday I fill up my watering can, add in my Miracle-Gro Rose Plant Food and give each bush about 3/4 of a gallon. The directions say to water the leaves with the mixture as well. I do that.
This knockout has been my most blooming bush. I love the roses it produces. I can't seem to keep up with them honestly. As soon as I cut one stem another pops up!
I love filling my vase with fresh roses...it makes everything look so pretty!
And since I never know which bush will have blooms ready, I always get a "new" arrangement!
I told Papa Bear I can never move from this house because my roses are here!!
And I mean it!!
If you have any rose tips for me, please feel free to leave me a comment. I love learning all I can!

I'll try your plant food and see if that helps mine. We had some period of drought and my roses were suffering for a bit but they are blooming again. NC weather is so unpredictable. Thanks for posting this.

Your roses are beautiful! I'm a tad envious ;) I do NOT have a green thumb...at all! I would be so happy looking at these roses every day, though!
