I had a nice post for today planned out, but CC and I cleaned the garage and I am so pooped!! We broke down and ordered cable again...I can't be without my decorating shows and Papa Bear misses his comedy shows....so tomorrow the DishNet cable installer will be here and we had to clean out the garage so he can reach the attic....whew!!! It wasn't so bad..but I have been up since 7:30 this morning and Papa Bear and I seriously worked non-stop til 9pm. I am so tired.
So I am going to show you today a couple of paintings...
I love tulips.... they used to be my #1 but now roses are my new #1! When tulips reigned, Papa Bear started painting me a picture of some tulips that he brought me home one day.
It's been about 5 years in the making now. He has to time (desire) to finish... so right now the painting sits behind his chest of drawers. Looking at it now, I really do with he would finish it for me!
This painting I bought at an art sale earlier this year. I didn't purchase the frame at that time. I had planned on going back the next day to fit a frame but they were gone. So now this painting too sits behind his chest of drawers. I LOVE this painting too.... I could look at it and just get lost..imagine myself sitting in one of those windows, sipping coffee and smelling the fresh flowers hanging from my window...sigh.....
One more "pink" for you... I am hosting a giveaway in honor of my 200th post.
Inside this box you will find this.....
You all know how I love to cook...and you know how crazy I went when I bought the Skinny Italian cookbook. The recipes are so simple and so very, very delicious!! You won't be disappointed. Plus, you will learn how to choose a good olive oil and the differences between the varieties. You will also learn different uses for common herbs. I love this book! I have made several recipes from it and they have all been a success!! Even my girls pitch in to help cook!

Happy Pink Saturday. I love how this helps me find so many cool places. Your husband must be quite a painter, lovely. I'm going to look for your giveaway post because the items are really different. I need to cook skinny. We love Spaghetti with garlicky clam sauce- don't think you can reduce the calories in that. I'll be a new follower too.

Such a pretty painting. Do like my brother did with one of my mom's painting and ask for it for Christmas. It's been 2 years my brother has begged my mom to get one of her painting framed and let him have it for Christmas. This year, she finally is going to get it done.
Hope he's a cleaner painter than her. She used to do oil painting in the kitchen. Yikes! Literally that stuff was all over the place. LOL Thanks for sharing the painting so I could have that memory!
Cable guys, the love/ hate relationship...but where would we be without them? They see all the dust bunnies and spider webs. I wonder what they think of all of us?
Love your blog. Will be back to visit. I want to see the tulip picture finished, too!
Rest up for next Saturday- I'll see you there!
Thanks for your comment on my blog!
Hugs- Tete
