I know I've posted pictures of my Russian cutting boards before, but it's been a while and I wanted to focus on the pink flowers. I bought most of my cutting boards on eBay, a few of them were given to me as gifts from friends visiting from Russia.
This particular set I bought about seven years ago. I've checked back often and that seller no longer has items for sale.
The funny thing about it was that this was not the original set I purchased.
When I opened the box I was surprised that it wasn't the one I ordered.
My friend also ordered from the same sellers store and she received the one I had ordered.
I don't even remember now what it looked like!
I guess I will have to look for it the next time I'm at her house.
This little board is also an eBay purchase. She was bought probably about seven years ago as well.
I love this cutting board.
There's that flower again...
Another eBay purchase...
I really don't remember how long I bought him.
I think it was in the past four years or so.
But it has that pink flower again
This next set is one of my favorites.
Each board depicts a different scene.
I love the family scene.
I haven't bought any Russian items from eBay lately. I like the old authentic feel of the pieces I buy. However, lots of the items for sale now seem so commercialized and lack real character. I like dings and knicks in them... Things that show life. Maybe I'm just weird like that!
We have to say a HUGE thank you to Beverly for putting this wonderful display of pink for us each and every Saturday! It gives us all something fun to do and ways to meet new blogging friends! I can't wait to stop by as many PS postings as I can.
I have to excuse myself now.. Titanic is on and I'm about to watch Rose drop Jack in the water and bawl my eyes out. Why do I do this to myself? I can feel my heart pounding already!

Hi :) Your cutting boards are simply lovely, and I too love the movie Titanic, but haven't watched it in quite some time.
Happy Pink Saturday!

April, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these pieces. I can see why you bought them. They are lovely and whimsical, too. (I like dings, too!)
