Pink Saturday - Russian Finift Enamel Necklace

I love Saturday's in blogland because that means its...Pink Saturday! My favorite way to start my Saturday's is relaxing in front of my computer with a nice cup of coffee and browsing everyone's pretty pinks! Of course, Pink Saturday just wouldn't be possible with out our wonderful host Beverly...thank you so much Beverly!

Today I am sharing a beautiful Russian Finift Enamel necklace set. My mother gave me this two or three New Year's ago. I had been wanting one forever and she surprised me with it.

The floral scenes are handpainted and the metal work is so scrolled so intricately.

This vintage necklace set is one of my favorite jewelry pieces I own. The necklace did break and I haven't been able to wear it. Just because my husband is a jeweler doesn't mean I get things fixed right away...you know the saying, "A mechanic's car is always broken.." well, a jewelers wife's jewelry is never fixed! Haha! It's ok... I'm patient!

I do get to wear the earring occasionally. They are the same size and pattern as the smaller tear drops.

I hope you enjoyed my pink for today. It's been nice and chilly here...at night at least. Today I figured out how to make something bad....very bad....
My own rendition of Starbuck's Caramel Apple Spice drink..just with less calories. Let me tell you.. it is sooo good! The girls and I have been hurting ourselves on it! I also made breakfast pizza...will post pictures later. The girls are waiting for me to watch another Children of the Corn movie. I will be soooooo happy when this series is off of my Netflix queue!!!
