What I've Been Loving....

I've been wanting to write a quick post on a few things. Imagine the miracle that has happened that has allowed me a few minutes...DURING THE DAY...to sit and write a couple of reviews. I'm not being paid for any of these reviews...they are just some things I have been loving lately.

First, I was sent a t-shirt from tshirtprinting.net to review. I don't have a picture of the t-shirt, it's in the washer, I pretty much live in it! I must say this is one of the most comfortable t-shirts I have ever owned. It's light weight, cool, doesn't stick to you and it has a fun money face on the front. I LOVE this t-shirt! You can check out the website here. Although they are not US based they do ship here. The shirts are customizable, so you can pretty much make what you can imagine. And they are not limited to shirts alone, they also offer hoodies, vests and sweatshirts. Go check them out!

Next, my mother always used Oil of Olay products when she was younger. She has always been complimented on how young she looks and how nice her skin is. In fact, Emil once told me he doesn't worry about me aging because he sees how gracefully my mother has aged. So, I took an online test at olay.com and found the products that I need. I don't have any real skin issues right now but I want to prevent them before they happen. I purchased Regenerist Night Recovery Creme. It is amazing. It smells good and feels good. My daughters noticed a difference in just a few days. I also got Mom to buy some and she loves it too!

In my Anatomy & Physiology class we saw first hand the damage that sun does to our skin. We saw the effects from deep within the skin. Let me tell you, it was scary! And it can't be undone. I think of all the sunburns I've gotten and dark tans...ugh! I don't even want to think about it. So, I went out and bought Olay Regenerist UV Defense Moisturizing Lotion with SPF50. I put this on each morning after I wash my face. About 15 minutes before I leave the house I cover my face, neck and chest, arms and hands with this store brand sunscreen. It's for sensitive skin and I love it!

I love perfume. I always have. Purses and perfumes. My weaknesses! When I was a waitress many years ago, I asked one of my tables (two men) if they needed anything else. He said, "Nope, just keep walking back and forth so I can keep smelling how sweet you smell." I was wearing Elizabeth Taylor's Diamonds & Emeralds. It has always been my favorite. I never let myself run out. You can see two bottles here, one big and one small.

The description says it has "a sharp, flowery fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of green floral top notes with white rose, water lily and gardenia, with lower notes of carnation and jasmine." I think it smells like cotton candy and reminds me of a warm, breezy spring evening at a carnival or county fair. I'm weird. But I love it and it's my favorite. And I am so happy spring is here so I can wear it again...everyday!

And finally, Mom introduced me to Maybelline Super Stay 24-hour color. This color literally does not come off...for at least 24 hours. You can eat, drink, bathe, kiss, brush your teeth, you name it and the color does not fade or leave your lips...at all!! I love it! I usually apply some right before bed and then don't have to reapply before school the next morning. I LOVE IT!!!!

The one I wear the most is Infinite Petal. It's light and soft and looks like I have a nice, soft shimmery gloss on all day! LOVE IT!! That's about all I've got for now. And all I have time for. The girls are already pitching fits that I've taken all of 20 minutes to myself to write a post! HA!! I guess I should know better by now!

I always appreciate hearing what people think about a product. It helps me decide if I want to try them. Good post. Glad you got a few minutes.
